Delete MagicPoster account

1. Delete your account in the app

Open MagicPoster and sign in. Use the profile icon to open Account, select Danger area, then select Permanently delete account.

Confirm the deletion with your password or sign in again with the linked Google or Apple account. After successful confirmation, the account is permanently deleted.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, send your request from the email address registered to your account to hello@getmagicposter.com. Use Delete account as the subject and include the email address of your MagicPoster account.

To protect against unauthorized deletion, we may request proof of identity or require you to sign in again. We confirm completion to the registered email address.

3. Delete specific data without deleting your account

You can delete your own projects and their content from the relevant project management area without deleting your account. Owners can also delete individual guest contributions from entry management.

Alternatively, you can request the deletion of specific data by emailing hello@getmagicposter.com from your registered email address. Include the affected project and the data you want removed.

4. Data deleted with an account

We delete the MagicPoster account, profile data, app sessions, associated Friend Books, Photo Books and Wi-Fi pages, and the content and media stored in them. Physical MagicTags are released for a new setup.

5. Retention and exceptions

Purchase, tax, security, abuse-prevention or evidence data required by law may be retained in restricted form for the required period. Purchase ledger and tax-relevant records may be retained for up to ten years. They are not used for advertising.

6. Cancel subscriptions separately

Deleting your account does not end a subscription purchased through Apple or Google Play. Cancel an active subscription separately in the subscription management settings of the relevant store.
